There are lots of beauty spots around the island. Aphrodite's
Rock near Paphos is where
Aphrodite, the Goddess of Love, was born from
the foaming sea. The sunset view from here is particularly
breathtaking. You can rent a
boat from Paphos harbour to go around Cape Arnaoutis to stop at
secluded bays for swimming and picnics.
Getting Married
Cyprus is a very popular destination for tying the
knot. You are almost guaranteed good weather
for most of the year. Accommodation is excellent.
There are a number of different places to get married
in Cyprus, The Town Hall offers a registry office where the ceremony takes
less than 4 minutes. There are also a number of churches and chapels,
some in the luxury hotels.
There are tour operators who will make all the
arrangements for you, including booking the registry office and any
accommodation you might need. However, they are expensive, and you can do
it all yourself in a couple of hours. Check our
