The Cypriots love children -
they will be welcomed and
entertained by diners and hotel staff
alike. Restaurants are open late and serve special
childrens meals for kids. Local families usually
go out for dinner after 8pm and a meze can last well over 3 hours, so its
common to find local children playing in the restaurants. Some
restaurants cater for this by providing a play area for kids, but not all
do.
Fun
There are lots of activities aimed at children.
There is go-karting in several locations including Paphos and Ayia Napa.
Limassol has a waterpark which is great fun for adults and kids. There is
horse-riding along the beach at George's Ranch near Paphos
where there is also an Aquarium. Larnaca's Camel Park makes a nice change
from the beach. Ayia Napa has Waterworld, which
has 20 different slides inspired by a
different ancient Greek myths,
and an Ocean Aquarium.
